EXPERIENCES

It’s the wonder as you take in the sweeping forest valley and watercolor sunset from our pool deck. It’s the taste of food grown and harvested in the heart of Bali and prepared in ways that create tastes both comforting and unexpected. These are the moments that linger forever.

Bisma Eight stays true to the heritage that has made Ubud a destination that has beckoned travelers for centuries while embracing the highest standards of luxury hospitality — we are modern and traditional, honoring both and detracting from neither.

Be a part of our story,
and let us be a part of yours.

ROOFTOP YOGA

Hatha is a general category that includes most yoga styles. It is an old system that includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (yoga breathing exercises), which help bring peace to the mind and body, preparing the body for deeper spiritual practices such as meditation.

In Vinyasa Yoga, individuals coordinate movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next. Ashtanga, Baptiste Yoga, Jivamukti, Power Yoga, and Prana Flow could all be considered Vinyasa Yoga.

JAMMU MAKING

Jammu is an Indonesian system of traditional herbal medicine used by many for the prevention and treatment of a variety of ailments. Jammu is said to have originated 1,300 years ago in the Javanese Royal Courts and is still practiced today throughout Indonesia. Knowing Jammu's transformation today is certainly very good for the sustainability of herbal medicine in Indonesia. No matter what, the heritage of the ancestors must be preserved. So, know your Jammu, craft your own Jammu, and don’t forget to always drink Jammu!

Balinese dance is a very ancient tradition that is part of the religious and artistic expression among the Balinese people. It is dynamic, angular, and intensely expressive. During your stay with us, take an hour-long lesson on the traditional dance, experience the culture, and express yourself in the Balinese way.
